FieldFlo, a project and safety management software provider for specialty subcontractors, has raised $35 million in growth capital from Mainsail Partners. The investment will fuel product development and help the company meet rising operational and compliance demands across North America’s high-risk construction sector.
Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm focused on vertical SaaS companies, led the round. The partnership will support FieldFlo’s efforts to scale its platform and expand its reach within the specialty subcontracting market.
Addressing Compliance Gaps in Specialty Construction
Specialty subcontractors operate under strict regulatory oversight from agencies like OSHA and the EPA, yet many still rely on outdated methods to manage safety and compliance. FieldFlo’s cloud-based platform addresses this gap by digitizing workflows that were once handled through spreadsheets and paper forms.
The software includes time tracking, certification management, incident reporting, and inventory tools. Its mobile-first design allows field and office teams to stay connected and compliant in real time.
“Our mission from day one has been simple—to make life easier for subcontractors by eliminating the inefficiencies that slow down projects and increase risk,” said Roni Szigeti, Co-Founder and CEO of FieldFlo. “Coming from the abatement and demolition industry, we know how complex safety and compliance management can be. Partnering with Mainsail, who has deep experience scaling construction and field service platforms, will help us deliver even more value to our customers as we expand our platform.”
Investing in Product Development and Market Expansion
FieldFlo plans to use the new funding to accelerate product innovation and strengthen its position in the specialty construction market. The company continues to build tools that help contractors reduce on-site incidents and improve their underwriting profiles with insurers.
Recent product launches include Safety Academy, a centralized training and certification platform that helps contractors manage worker education and compliance documentation. The company also introduced FLÅŒTime, a digital timesheet solution designed to provide verifiable proof of on-site activity and labor compliance.
Built by Contractors, For Contractors
FieldFlo was founded by Roni and Brittany Szigeti, who brought firsthand experience from the abatement and demolition industry. Their understanding of the operational challenges facing specialty contractors shaped the platform’s design and functionality.
The software serves as both a system of record and a risk management tool. Users highlight its intuitive interface, configurability, and industry-specific workflows. By helping contractors stay audit-ready, FieldFlo enables them to save time, reduce risk, and improve safety performance.
“This partnership marks an exciting step for FieldFlo,” said Brittany Szigeti, COO of FieldFlo. “With the operational support of Mainsail’s Growth Team and their deep experience in construction technology, we’ll keep doing what we do best — enhancing the field experience, expanding our platform, and growing our talented team to better serve our clients and the industry at large.”
Backing from a Vertical SaaS Specialist
Mainsail Partners has a track record of supporting bootstrapped B2B software companies as they scale. The firm has raised nearly $4 billion in committed capital and partnered with over 100 companies during its 22-year history.
“Specialty subcontractors face growing regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements, yet many still operate without a dedicated system of record,” said Tollie Brown, Principal at Mainsail Partners. “FieldFlo’s purpose-built platform solves these challenges with remarkable usability and depth. We’re excited to partner with Roni, Brittany, and the team as they continue to define this category.”
